Ptr. Raymund Suamen woke up early in the morning, gathered all his strength for a three-hour journey to take the Bibles that our team gave him on foot into a mountainous village of Cabatangan, situated in a landlocked Municipality of Lambunao, Iloilo, Panay Island, a Hiligaynon-speaking province in the Philippines.
Ptr. Raymund is the head pastor of Bethlehem Church under the Assemblies of God and this is their outreach church in Cabatangan village.
Pastor Raymund’s 3-hour walk paid off when the village people welcomed him with smiles and joy after they all received their Ilonggo (Hiligaynon) Bibles.
Pastor Raymund is just one of the many Pastors, Ministers, Workers, and Believers around the world who have received Bibles from the Bibles and Books Ministry. This year alone we have given over a thousand Bibles, and a thousand more are to be given away. God’s providence has taken us not to the developed Churches but instead to the poor and hungry souls on the outer fringes of the Christian faith.
